Birthermercial Running In Seven Southern States

A “birthermercial” is running in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.

Gary Kreep (Kreep, an apropos name) of the United States Justice Foundation says his group will decide soon on a second buy for the 28-minute program that asks late-night viewers to give $30 to have facsimiles sent to several government officials demanding Obama produce his birth certificate. As a thank you, contributors also get a special Birther bumper sticker.

The first buy covered Sept. 10 through Sept. 27.

For your viewing pleasure, here’s the list:

  • Huntsville, AL
  • Jacksonville & Tallahasseee, FL
  • Macon & Savannah, GA
  • Shreveport, LA
  • Springfield, MO
  • Chattanoga & Memphis, TN
  • Abilene & Lubbock, TX

As to why Kreep’s group, which is based in southern California, is targeting states in the South, he says only: “We used a vendor that booked the times.”

LivePrayer.com, the fundamentalist online prayer hotline run by birthermercial host Bill Keller, is based in St. Petersburg, Florida.

I think it would be very kind of of Obama supporters to call 1-800-321-3247 and let them know you are keeping your $30.00 so they won’t accidentally send a fax with your name attached.
