The Tea Bag Partiers are planning a massive show of strength on Twitter today (Wed) 09-09-09 at 9pm EST (6 pacific), just after Obama’s speech. This is a tremendous opportunity for some pranks to be pulled to expose their hate and hypocrisy. Join in and bring all of your friends.

As many of you know, I have been warning about the dangers of the Tea Bag parties for months now. I’ve written articles on EyesOnObama, NewsJunkiePost, and here on ProgressiveNation.

The Tea Parties started out as libertarian events, and those folks have a right to complain because they are following their beliefs now as they were during the latter Bush years. I disagree with them immensely on economic policy, and see them as being pawns for corporations, but at least I have some respect for the consistency in their views.

The Tea Bag Parties that started after Santelli’s infamous and completely staged rant on CNBC however are almost completely run and attended by the same neocons that were the biggest Bush supporters. The people that are protesting at these modern Tea Bag Parties share nothing with libertarians, they believe the Iraq War was a smashing success and completely justified. These people think that we need to get tougher on the drug war and need more government interference in our lives with stricter laws. These people put their faith in the same failed conservative policies that have failed us for nearly 30 years. These people are neocons and hypocrites.

Now it has come to my attention that they are planning the largest ever Tea Bag Party on Twitter on 09-09-09 at 9pm EST (6 pacific) in preparation for their 912 street protests and march on DC.
